ILG Welcomes Josh Stone to Acclaimed Funds Practice Group

Effective October 1, 2025, leading boutique private investment fund and corporate law firm Investment Law Group is adding the private fund formation practice of FundsLawyer PLLC. FundsLawyer PLLC is a boutique law firm that focuses on private investment funds and fractional general counsel services. FundsLawyer’s principal, Josh Stone, is a seasoned practitioner in the private funds area.

This addition is part of Investment Law Group’s strategic plan for growth, allowing it to take full advantage of its attorneys’ decades of experience, reputation as a leading firm for emerging fund managers, and efficient processes, which allow it to deliver unmatched value for investment managers and entrepreneurs. The firm’s highly credentialed corporate attorneys, based in Atlanta, are also eager to expand into Miami, another high-growth market.
