Investment Law Group Announces Addition of Bill Winter to Firm’s Corporate Practice Group
Bill is well-known to the Investment Law Group team, having worked with ILG’s team on mutual clients and with Rob Joseph (the Corporate Group Leader) at a previous firm. Rob Joseph spoke enthusiastically about Bill’s recent decision to join:

More About Bill Winter
Bill Winter is both a successful lawyer and business leader. Prior to joining the Investment Law Group, Bill led two entrepreneurial organizations as an executive team member and General Counsel: a global software company (4 years) and a US-based healthcare technology company (5 years). In both roles, Bill worked closely with executive leadership to grow the company’s SaaS platforms, expand strategic distribution channels, and increase overall company value to achieve successful exit events. Bill was known for streamlining sales, improving operations, coaching team members, and most importantly, balancing legal requirements with business needs. Prior to his corporate leadership, Bill used his expertise in tax and M&A transactions to help companies grow at both a national law firm and a national accounting firm.
Bill has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Illinois, and a Juris Doctor degree from Emory University. Bill lives in Atlanta with his wife Lisi Winter (also a successful entrepreneur) and three children. When not advocating for clients, you will find Bill behind his beloved acoustic guitar pretending to know what he is doing.
