Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke made comments indicating his opposition to Hedge Fund regulation. According to Bloomberg, Bernanke stated “he primary mechanism for regulating excessive leverage and other aspects of risk-taking in a market economy is the discipline provided by creditors, counterparties, and investors.” Bernanke’s views on Hedge Fund registration are consistent with the views of former Fed Chairman, Alan Greenspan.Please Click here for more information.
