Singapore Exchange Ltd. (SGX) plans to allow hedge funds with assets under management of US $12-20 million to offer units/interests on its exchange. The units can only be sold to institutions and accredited investors. Hedge Funds typically list on an exchange (in Dublin or Luxembourg) in order to raise funds from institutions and pensions that can only invest in listed securities.
